Join me, an anxious and obsessive middle-aged man, as I embark on the journey of a lifetime, cycling solo and unsupported from one end of Britain to the other.

From nervous beginnings, Restless Lanes follows my emotional and physical journey over two weeks from Land’s End to John o’ Groats. From terrifying dual carriageway encountres, battering storms, and crippling lonliness, my story also captures moments of sheer joy, breathtaking landscapes, and forgotten histories.

Restless Lanes is my own personal love letter to this wondrous isle; a love fuelled by curiosity and exploration. An unbreakable connection to this island carved from blood, sweat, and fears.
