Another trip to the big smoke for this country bumpkin. This time to spend a couple of days recording my parts in this radio adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula.
This particular version of Dracula was originally adapted by Simon Collier for a theatre production in 2015 at the Lion and Unicorn Theatre in north London. Further amendments have been made to turn this into this 13 x 20 minute radio drama. My contribution was minor, playing the part of Ronald Moorfoot, Senior Partner to Jonathan Harker, and various other ensemble parts. But as I was repeatedly told at drama school - there is no such thing as small parts, only small actors.
Coincidentally, I first worked with Simon on a musical version of Dracula way back in 2008, where my pyjama clad Renfield was the talk of South London. I look forward to working with him again later this year in another radio production, The White Witch of Rose Hall.
